MOON OF OXAN

CHEEB

PLANET

If Anax is the brighter more extravagant of the two moons of Oxen, then Cheeb is most definitely its opposite. Impossibly cold with little to no atmosphere this desolate moon hangs in an exact opposite orbit to this sister moon making a celestial Yin and Yang. The northernmost pole of the moon stands a natural monolith that soars two miles into space.

Every eleven years as its sister is lighting up, the surfaces of Cheeb vibrates at such a rate that the dust is lifted into the air creating a temporary dry atmosphere. The vibration of the planet then is directed out of the top of the monolith, shooting the risen dust far into space along with it. The vibrations are caused directly from its relationship to Anax.
